ABOUT

Always analog and folk art inspired, June began to apply their background in drawing and painting to freehand embroidery in 2020.

Today her work has crystallized into drawing from aesthetics of the romantic Medieval and Victorian periods, odes to the natural world and intentionally wielding Craft for spiritual and community purpose.

Their work has been showcased at local makers markets such as Market of the Beast, The High Water Market, and more in Portland, OR.

More in depth information about the artist can be found on The Omni Open Studios Podcast.

"Faeries are irrational, poetic, absurd, and very, very wise. Faeries say there is nonsense in dogma, and sense in nonsense. Faeries express themselves with high seriousness and low humour. They are resistant to all definitions."
